A big hello from us!

We are Shamira & Marco from Miramarc Studios. I'm a conceptual & avant garde photographer while Marco is in charge of styling and PR issues (We are also doing weddings, events and portraits)

We have our own line of jewelry and apparel, MiraMarc Collection, specialised in alternative, whimsical designs with a touch of inspirational sophistication

We are friendly creatives who are keen on producing beautiful images. I do TF conceptual photography when I have the time to spare (You can't get too creative with client work! Big smile) You can often find me at my studio working on new jewelry designs and creating new images. I have an art director/advertising background with a great knowledge of photoshop so I can retouch photos as well. I shoot a wide range of styles and I love the fantasy, gothic, victorian and romantic eras. I have a huge collection of accessories, headpieces, outfits and props from my own line as well as from international sponsors. I am rather good in applying makeup and Marco doubles up as my stylist and photo assistant.



We organize several group events from time to time. 2015 proves to be a challenging year so we decide to break down the scheduled shoots between the months of May-August:

Aug: Twisted (originally freakshow) - depicting plastic surgery, pedophilia, domestic violence, sexism, extremism, greed, animal abuse (moodboard not out yet)

We would be away in the States from September until December so those are all the TF shoots we decided to manage this year. Some spots are already taken and we have an idea whom to shoot for some of the above shoots.

We also travel quite a bit as well and we are happy to collaborate with international models if we drop by your city/country.

“Learn the rules like a pro, so you can break them like an artist” Picasso once said, and we do believe that each photograph we take should be a unique, personal and intimate piece of art. It does not matter whom or what we are shooting, what matters to us is that our photography can tell its viewers a story.

We put a lot of time and effort into every photo shoot, not to mention the time for prop making/searching and location hiring/hunting. So we won't pay any expenses if it is stated as a TFP shoot but we will always provide snacks/lunch Smile

We are also not super speedy with post-production since we work full time with Miramarc. (Marco is also a translator & interpreter while I'm currently in college for jewelry design) We do our best to be fast but we will always choose quality over quantity and speed.
