I'm a photographer and filmmaker based in Aurora, Illinois. I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and moved to the states early on in my childhood. Growing up bilingual, and not entirely identifying with my Hispanic and Catholic role models, left me asking questions that were always left unanswered. This becoming more complicated as understanding my sexuality came into play.

Discovering the self and the other has become an intensive journey that has challenged me spiritually and emotionally. Allowing me to strip the facade of a hetero-normative life and honestly deal with my personal struggles. In creating imagery that exists in a tension between the surreal and the real, I invite viewers to navigate themselves openly and without restraint. For the purpose of questioning and ultimately embracing the fluctuating nature of the 'self'.
