hello all ! I'm a well seasoned makeup artist that has worked in the beauty industry for 15+ years. I really love creative inspiration and themes, costumes, and I am a good listener and investigator when it comes to determining what style of makeup is in your mind, and what you want . I got my start with a well known artistry company, MAKE UP FOR EVER, in 1997 fresh out of high school. There i was birthed into the fabulous makeup world of beauty makeup ranging from Club Kid makeup, to drag, to fashion, to one of my my specialties: wedding makeup. True , pigmented Color has always played an important role in my makeup artistry. After a near decade of Make Up For Ever artistry and busy work in the San Diego destination wedding city, I finally crossed over to "the dark side" and went to work for MAC Cosmetics, starting off in San Diego, and now residing in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California... for the better part of ANOTHER decade. While working for MAC I played a key makeup artist overseeing and teaching makeup classes and lessons, as well as working as a makeup artist for large level industry events, and other special make up artist relations that I was specially selected to do for MAC, all ranging from red carpet makeup, to head shots, to music videos,to body painting, to drag, to fashion makeup. Long short: I can now bust out TONS of fast, beautiful makeovers that are of editorial quality with beautiful, smooth, well primed textures - but I am NOT a plastic surgeon. I am currently very honored to be working on a beautiful project called "A Deck Of Hats" as the key makeup artistry direction with the extremely talented creatrix of headdresses and photography, and well known model Sylva "Scar" Hattington.
