William Rootpeter is a French model and actor, born in Paris to Algerian father and French mother. Discovered in Berlin, he began modeling internationally, eventually earning himself a business degree in New York City with his modeling fees while amassing 30,000 followers on Instagram. He is known for "Salem Occultist" (2016) and is rumoured to appear in “The Giaour”.

He debuted as a model at age 16 after being spotted by a photographer (Samuel Hodge ) in Berlin.
He modeled for some of the biggest photographers in Germany like Oliver Rath, Joseph Wolfgang Ohlert, Marcel Wink (Eric Crusher) and Chris Phillips and in New York and Los Angeles for Arnaldo Anaya-Luca, Luke Fontana, Timo Weiland, Nicolas Wagner.
He was part of the Carvil Paris 2015 campaign photographed by Guillaume Malehiro, along with 2015 campaign by the French brand Cremieux in New York.
In 2010 he leaves germany to start studying and auditioning in new york city with Abbey Lynn Agency and work as a model for Cavan Images.

He recently modeled in New York for Yoram Roth.

Experienced in commercials, he worked for the last Android® campaign financed by Google in July 2014.

He modeled for international fashion designers as Yeray Suarez, Roberto Piqueras, Afshin Feiz, East Club London, Nozomi Teranishi ( Japan ), Adam Weiss, Dead Bunny, Mokowear and so on.

Photographs of William were exhibited by Brett Lindell at the Eye Heart Gallery, NY, in September-October 2014 and he appeared on the titan (transit advertising company) adds of the fall underwear campaign for Nasty Pig in 2017.
He modeled for the last printed edition of the Characters magazine and THE GLAM ATTITUDE magazine in collaboration with the department store LES GALERIES LAFAYETTE in Lyon and Paris. He modeled as well for Malc Stone and Charles Moriarty in London.
He recently was on the last cover of the POCKET Magazine, edition February 2015, photographed by Gerardo Vizmanos, in NYC and was featured in the connexion cover of 2018 and Halcyon magazine the same year.
He appears as well in the first issue of the HOM mook, France, and Crush Magazine. He is currently the ambassador for the clothing brand Humanity.

He will appear on "Remain Here", with Eva Provence and Sophie Auster, a short movie realized by the French director Shirley Monsarrat in NYC.

He is one of the prominent models of Beards of New York, photo book and portrait series by Greg Salvatori.
