I am a licensed Illinois Cosmetologist, with 10-years experience in hair and makeup. I enjoy building shapes out of hair extensions, vintage upstyling, high fashion, men's grooming, creative color, and old school Americana, razor cuts, and dry-cutting techniques. I am constantly keeping my skills up by taking advanced education classes in both the hair and makeup fields. I first got into fashion by making my own clothes and playing in bands, and both of those roads lead me to hair. I have experience in runway, hair shows, editorial shoots, and wedding hair and makeup. I especially enjoy working with Colorscience Pro, Mac, Sugar Pill, MUF, and Melt cosmetics. I enjoy creating custom colors for all my clients using Pravana and Aveda color lines. I draw inspiration from clothing, print, and editorial, and enjoy stretching people's concepts of gender. I adore collaborating with other artists and always seek to hilight everyone's work. I have recently applied to the postgraduate course at Sassoon Academy in London, which has a high focus in editorial and runway work. I cannot wait to see where that takes me. I joined Model Mayhem to search for models, photographers experiences in hair/mu photography, as well as fashion designers and other hair/mu artists interesting in collaborating.
