I am based in Shasta County currently and work mostly in commercial imaging. I have been involved in commercial photography since 1970 and have instructed in photography and photo journalism at college level but I am retired now. I still stay active by teaching workshops in NorCal, Southern Ore. and Reno, NV. I am the current Organizer for the NorCal Models, Photographers and MUA Meetup Group.

We recently have changed directions and are trying to average at least 4 workshops each year. These are educational workshops for all who wish to learn or perfect their crafts. Membership is still free for all and we are open to any and all skill levels. Even if you are just thinking about getting into modeling or photography we are a great place to start.

In the past the group organizer didn't try to educate but seemed to just take his favorite models and start shooting leaving others that attended to fend for themselves. This is not what the group is about. We want to help new members to expand their knowledge as well as their portfolio and exposure.
