Yaniel Paulino is an award-winning NYC-based Director of Photography and Filmmaker, whose captivating artistic style showcases the innermost beauties within our vast world through the power of visual storytelling. His natural, dim-lit sets are reminiscent of the masterworks of Rembrandt and Cinematographer Roger Deakins.

Throughout his creative career, Yaniel has had the opportunity to work directly with a multitude of prominent clients, including but not limited to NBC, Zara, Splexone, Cinemagiants, REVOLT.TV, Laura Posada, Footaction, and Verifone.

Born in New York City and raised in Dominican Republic, Yaniel spent most of his free time watching films. The more films he watched, the more his passion for the film industry grew. Before he knew it, his avid interest transformed into a lifelong vocation.

In 2015, Yaniel was awarded “Best Short Film” for A Walk Within. Three years later, he directed Grayscale, his debut feature film that is currently in its post-production phase.

Furthermore, Photographer and Filmmaker Yaniel Paulino studied Digital Cinematography and Visual Arts at Full Sail University. He also specializes in emotionally-charged fine art photography.
