Hello, I'm Rich Carpenter, and have been a freelance photographer for the better part of 11 years now.  I enjoy capturing the natural beauty of both the world around me, and the extremely talented people I have had the pleasure of working with thus far.  Regardless of your style, character, and on camera attitude I work hard to capture only the best photos, and enjoy the smile on my clients faces at the end of a shoot.  Having fun, working with a talented team, or even solo - my promise to you is to make sure we bring a combination of skills, equipment, and attitude when making the most important product: your photos! 

As an artist I'm all too happy to collaborate with people who are like minded.  Hard work is a must, and a willingness to experiment, and to have fun!  I admit that though I have been at this awhile, I still learn something new every time I remove the lens cap.

On the business side, I prefer paid shoots, but will collaborate on projects with a TFP on projects that I feel will enhance my portfolio, or yours.  The best thing to do is ask, my rates are flexible, and very reasonable.  If you're just starting out this can be taken into account of course - and in limited instances, I will hire models for specific jobs.  I'm easily approachable, and love meeting new people.  I wold also like to thank the extremely wonderful people I've had the pleasure of working with in the area (CT), and a special thanks to Wayne Fleming, and Laura Sophia.
