Jerry Lexion, a native of Los Angeles, began taking photos at 16 years old. He started taking random photos with throwaway film cameras for family events. Where his love for photography began; In his own words, “Being able to look at old archived pictures of my father and grandfather made me want to duplicate that same feeling.” “I realized very soon that freezing a moment in time made that moment last forever.” “I truly love being able to see something in someone they cannot see in themselves and the surprised look on their face once they see what I have captured is priceless.” “Being able to manipulate light has been one of my true pleasures; photography lighting fascinates me, which is the reason I believe, for my choosing this particular medium of art.” Jerry has been considered an Assignment Photographer as he can literally photograph any subject or any event with tremendous talent, creativity and lighting expertise.
