My name is Tony Hoffman and I LOVE photography! I started out in 2002 running live sound reinforcement, went to school for audio recording, started working for a production company, moved into lighting, and the got into photography to capture the looks that I was creating on stage. I have been shooting corporate events for my coworkers and doing occasional shoots with LeRoy Bell and his only Friends while I guitar tech for them. That is where the largest body of my work comes from.

I want to branch out and shoot clean, punchy, exciting photos and I need your help to develop my style! I have the technical aspects of photography down, but I need models to shoot, and shoot, and shoot, and shoot to figure out what my style is. I've checked nearly everything under the genres section because I would like to help out anyone and everyone while I undertake this endeavor! I have experience shooting musicians performing live such as LeRoy and Macklemore so if you're a band that would like some live shots then lets talk about making something happen! I'm more interested in situations where I can control and craft the lighting though.

Also, if you are interested in doing an underwater shoot, i don't have the proper equipment to take my Nikon DSLRs underwater, so I would need to get some help with renting an underwater housing or maybe we can find a pool with an underwater viewing window to use!

The moral of the story is that I am open to any concepts that you can throw at me and I would like to be able to shoot some of my ideas with you! I'm not personally very interested in shooting nudes, my concepts are more along the lines of using a long exposure to create some blurring in water or wind-blown leaves in a background and compositing in a faster exposure of the model over the top to make a kind of eerie, beautiful, clean, and punchy photo. I have enough equipment to tackle nearly anything (1 nikon D700, 1 nikon d300, 1 nikon d300s, a range of fast, high-quality lenses, 2 speed lights with various modifiers, 2 studio strobes with various modifiers, Lightroom, Photoshop, and a bunch of other little bits and pieces) I just need some talent to put in front of my lens and some stylists to make the talent look their absolute best!
