I've been making photographic images for around 40 years, first self-taught then on a foundation art college course followed later by courses specialising mostly in social documentary photography and darkroom work. I also attended a short course in London on studio work including the use of lighting and large format cameras.

During years in the police I carried out camera work including documenting items of evidence, people and places. After leaving the police and during the following years I produced quantities of documentary images for local and national projects, charities, individuals etc; most of which they displayed as prints in exhibitions and published in local and national newspapers as well as in promotional brochures, leaflets, reports, etc.

Having sold all of my gear and taken a long break I have now restocked. I'm ready to build a totally new portfolio of/for females be they totally new models with no experience or if fully experienced for sessions without charge.

At first I would propose making basic shots and then use those to decide later images, styles and studio time. Be aware that my Wife will attend all shoots so as to assist me. I can shoot in Manchester or within 40 miles travel.
