My name is Jose M Alvarez. I am a photographer in the Bay area.
I do a wide range of photography, glamour/landscapes/models/families, lifestyle photography.

I am willing to try any style the model wants for their portfolio, as well as for mine. I am open to any ideas and concepts. I do have a few of my own. If you are looking for something specific let me know. I am willing to try anything that will produce the quality photo that will get us both our next project.

I do location shoots as well as studio. There are a few studios in the area, rentals fees vary. Depending on distance, location shoots are at my choosing. If you have a specific asking area let me know. We can work out something.

I want to be up front, nudes. This is an artistic area that both photographer and model must be on the same page and both are very comfortable with the project. I will do semi-nude, implied nude, glamour, lingerie, underwear, swim suit. When it comes to this type of photography it is better to leave the viewer with an imagination of what will happen next (remember the photo shoots from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s of movie stars, pinup girls). Photography tells a page, chapter, scene, or a story of what will or will not happen. Imagination and the power of suggestion can be very strong in a photo.
