Several years ago I turned my attention from telling a story through the moving image as a cinematographer to the art of photography and telling a story through a single image. Within the last few years I've been working to refine my skills creatively with portraiture, fine art, and black & white. I think my former "life" as a filmmaker often gives my images a cinematic feel. I also like to explore recreating the feeling of old b&w movies or film noir.

In defining my work, I view myself as a storyteller; creating a single image that actually could say a thousand words to a thousand different people. I have extensive expertise with Photoshop as a retouch artist and I've been part of the Professional Photographers of America and National Association of Photoshop Professionals.

I'm willing to work with models between assignments as TFP with model experience being less important as I'm also experimenting on new photographic concepts often and can teach posing, etc. if necessary. I enjoy collaboration, professional attitude, punctuality, and communication - lots of communication.
