About Me

Within my work, the intention is to break the boundary of the fourth wall.  In theatrical terms, this is the boundary between the actors and the audience.  In my practice I build interactive installations involving the themes of home, comfort and a sense of belonging.  The body is a part of my material library along with a background in improvisational performance. This has influenced my vignettes, creating a hybrid practice. Together in harmony, the viewer and myself create a place to play, much as though we are children again.  As we grow, creativity is eroded by the demands of the world.  In the end all that comforts us is the feeling of security, a feeling of home.
