I don't take 'normal' photographs, I make photograms instead. Hopefully that makes the work a bit different / interesting from the model's point of view! I'm selling a few through an art gallery, they are going to take some of my work to the Affordable Art Fair in March 2015, so I'm looking to make some more images for the fair in Jan/Feb 2015.

I use old-fashioned analogue materials in a darkroom: the model poses on or next to a large sheet of colour photographic paper. The paper is light sensitive, so this happens in total darkness. The paper is then exposed to light using coloured flashguns and processed straight away. The result comes out of the processor in a few minutes and is then ready to view. I then review the image with the model to work out what went right, what went wrong and what to change or try next.
