I am a fully trained and certified makeup artist and I just moved to Washington state!

My kit: I only use high quality, professional products. I was trained and certified through Bellus Academy using MUD products and curriculum. However, I am a multi-dimensional consumer and I believe that the best products are found throughout different retailers. My kit regularly includes products from MUD, MAC Cosmetics, Tarte, Stila, Urban Decay, Makeup Forever, and Sei Bella and I am constantly trying new products to find the best. I will determine which products to use based on lighting and style concept, client's skin type/condition, weather conditions (if applicable) and any other relevant variables. If you have a specific product that you would like me to use, please discuss this with me prior to booking.

Other services: I am always available for simple hair styling. I will only do hair styling as a "package deal", so you must have me booked for makeup services as well. At this time, I am not offering services for intricate braids or elaborate up-dos (those that take more than 45 minutes to accomplish). Please send me a call sheet/concept prior to confirming booking if you are unsure. My costs for hair styling reflect my overheads and are generally extremely low.
I also have a lot of experience as a model prior to becoming a makeup artist. With this experience, I am able to assist with wardrobe, posing, lighting and other small tasks occasionally. If these tasks randomly arise during shooting, please do not hesitate to ask. If you know ahead of time that these will be required of me, please discuss this with me prior to booking. I do not charge for assisting with these tasks, but gratuity is always appreciated =)

Where: I do mostly freelance work and present myself and my business in a professional manner. I can cover Seattle, Tacoma, Kitsap County and surrounding areas. My rates reflect the exact costs of travel expenses within this area, so please include the location of the job when inquiring as well as the exact time and date.

Compensation: I am interested in paid assignments only. My rates are calculated exactly the same for each client. However, I do offer a "professional rate" for other professionals whom I may have a mutual interest in working with. If you have a unique concept or specific skill set, I would be willing to work provided we can reach a mutually beneficial agreement. Some monetary compensation must cover my out-of-pocket expenses for the job. Out of pocket expenses include makeup, disposable supplies, sanitation supplies, gas/mileage, tolls, ferry tickets, etc. Please contact me directly for my "professional rate".

Professional Bio: Around 2006, I took it upon myself to develop skills in makeup artistry to further my career as a model, but my passion for makeup soon took over. After years of traveling, offering my services as a makeup artist for photo shoots and special events, I returned to San Diego to acquire an education at the nationally acclaimed Bellus Academy. I received my professional certification for makeup artistry there and continue to seek advanced education and training in the fashion and beauty industry to broaden my abilities and fine tune my skills. My passion for makeup artistry is continually pushing me forward and my skills include bridal/special event makeup, special effects, film, editorial, avant garde, men's, corrective, mature, glamour, fashion, and much, much more.
