I am a jewelry designer. The genre of jewelry that I work in is known as artisan jewelry. It is entirely handmade and very rustic. I have been designing and creating jewelry for many years and am particularly inspired by the history of ancient jewelry, as well as the materials and gemstones which I use in my designs.

I am always looking for models to work with. As each new collection is created, I like to photograph it on a person, as that is the best way to see how it lays against the skin, how it complements the wearer. Some of these photos will be used for print ad campaigns, and some will simply become a reference of pieces which I have made.

Modeling jewelry is kind of a special thing. I'm not necessarily looking for models who have great height or runway stats, but rather expressive eyes, hands, necks and shoulders. Because I am looking for models who are a blank canvas, I usually do not choose to work with women with excessive piercings or tattoos which would interfere with the viewing of the jewelry against the skin.
