I started on the road to modeling in 1999 when, against my parents wishes, I enrolled in the John Casablanca's school of acting and modeling. They thought it was a waste of money, I thought it would be a great way to help my self esteem that had taken years of beating from cruel classmates. I looked forward to the classes every week. I did a little promotional work at the time but could not afford comp cards as I was a struggling college student. I saved up a few years later and went to Model Search America which was amazing. Since then I have done a little work here and there, struggled with health issues which led to weight gain, become a mother, gotten a great career, and now am back modeling part time. I worked very diligently to get back down to the size 6 jean that I am currently (proudly!) wearing! I would love to be able to get myself out there and fulfill more of my dream of doing more modeling. I know I am never going to "make it big" as I am petite and older for the industry, but I still would like to see what I can do.
