I love photography. Creating art is my goal. I don't care if it's a newborn baby, a senior, a wedding, or a high fashion shoot--- my goal is to capture the personality of the person in front of the camera. I want to represent them in the best light possible. That means, to some degree, I have to get to know who I am shooting before I meet them. You will never get in front of my camera without having a friendly conversation with me first. I think that is just so important--- how can you represent someone without knowing anything about them? I also usually hash that out through e-mail exchange-- I may send you a small list of questions to discover your interests, or what kind of look you're going for. Yes, my own artistic style will play into that, BUT at the same time I want to show your style as well.

That being said, I shoot mainly weddings and high school seniors. I do work with models to help them with their portfolio, but that is usually when I am looking to try out a new concept or a publication submission.
