Hello my name is Marylee Vivian Hughes. I have been modeling since the age 13, acting since the age 8, and just recently about a 3 years ago graduated with a marketing degree from UTEP(El Paso, TX). I have always expressed my sense of craft, through being open-minded, and capturing the moment for what it is, at the exact circumstance and view through the artists’ lenses and direction, in creating a story, that unfolds into a picture, created only by pure innocence of serenity towards innovation. The avant-garde view I would have to say has come naturally in my genes, I come from an artistic culture, and family, my grandfather Lester Hughes is a well known western oil painter, who has been internationally recognized, who has always taught me since young, you and you only can paint your destiny and path by only putting one hand and foot forward, but ultimately is your decision solemnly, but in saying this, me personally has chosen to view the world in random/untapped(normal by me) exploration. My father’s side is English, Irish, and Swedish, but my mother is half German, and half Native American(Blackfoot, Canadian, Cherokee), in meaning I am in somewhat a making of a sort of random interweave of interesting commodities. I love how you can bring together just a small group of people and make something so beautiful and elegant, just by expressing your view and moment of craft, through a tiny lens. In the Model Mayhem community, I believe a woman in my instance expresses her artsy craft through being elegant/poise/couture/innocent/open-minded and experiencing a moment captured at the same time as the world, and understanding what and whom she tends to represent, knowing the explosion of originality amongst one-self.
