About Me

I started out in film photography observing my father in his darkroom. At that time, photography was his interest, not mine. It didn't take long before I developed that same interest. Initially I composed images DELIBERATELY making sure nobody was in the scene. But something was always missing. It took a few years to figure out that what was missing was the human element; the connection between photographer and viewer that is so beautifully displayed by INCLUDING people in my compositions.
Soon, I looked not only for a landscape (although a beautiful landscape devoid of anything human still rings masterful tones,) but for people to become part of that landscape.
The more I included people, the more I realized it was the people more than the landscape that caught my interest.
I moved on to portrait and modeling photography because of this, and because I strive to show the beauty of every person I photograph, I am forever yearning for my next great shoot.
There are several rules I follow, and ask that they be respected. They are:
1.) I don't shoot nudes. If you want nudes, please look elsewhere.
2.) I shoot clean and classy. If you don't, then I'm not a photographer for you.
3.) I like FUN shoots. Natural smiles because of a good photographer/model relationship make a photo kick a$$.
4.) I like to meet before the shoot to discuss it and become comfortable. Without comfort, we may as well not shoot.
5.) The shoot is for the benefit of me (the photographer) and you (the model). Any and all creative ideas are both welcome and embraced.
6.) Please turn off your cell phone during the shoot. My phone will be off as well. While guests at the shoot may use their phones, the photographer and model need to eliminate distractions to get the best possible results. Guests are asked to use their phones in such a way as to not distract from the shoot.
7.) My rates are 100% dependent upon each individual shoot. While it is common for a flat rate per shoot, I am uncommon, and rates are discussed and agreed upon per shoot.
8.) If I contact you as a model for a shoot, I have read your profile and understand your shooting criteria and compensation requirements, and am willing to abide by that criteria. If you contact me, I expect the same understanding.
9.) Have FUN! If we are not enjoying the shoot, then we shouldn't shoot!

Best of luck to all! Excel as a model and photographer, and be sure to kick a$$ during every shoot! I am looking forward to working with you!
