About Me

I am Tara O'Hehir. I have spent the last 6 years in portrait photography in both Australia and the UK. I have worked as a portrait photographer, photography trainer, style director, creative director, photography teacher and freelance photographer.
I have just moved to Madrid to live with my boyfriend and am excited for new creative challenges and experiences.
I have a limited network of creatives in Madrid, however am confident that will change soon.
I have won awards in the APPA, and the Asia Canon awards.
My approach to my photography is all about emotion, light and creating a connect between the subject and the viewer. This has lead me to become a co-founding member of a not for profit organisation that deals with equality.
Currently I am undertaking several personal projects that explore lighting, the relationship we have with ourselves and some digital artworks focusing on the ideals of beauty.
