I'm a conceptual artist based out of Portland OR. For the last 10 years I've been using photography as a means to gather original content for use in my art work. working in mediums ranging from acrylic and oil painting, polymer photo transfers, screen printing,and installations. The photos I take are just part of the process. The beginning of the story. I have a dedicated photo studio with professional equipment. The environment is always relaxed and comfortable.

As a native Portlander Zach Egge is a natural street artist, combining photorealistic images of a classic oil painter with the juxtaposed elements of graffiti and multi-layered stencil and collage. Egge's emotionally charged and bright images are taken from popular icons, intermixing political and religious irony and an honest loathing of the modern day consumer driven society.
