I am really into creating over the top, epic, cinematic pictures. A good way of thinking about it would be a still shot from a movie. I mean interesting lighting, a concept or back story for the shot, maybe props, etc. Just like I said - over the top. But even on those shoots, I want to always get a few "normal" shots as well: headshots, beauty shots, etc. So, at a shoot with me, whenever possible, you will not only get the expected stuff for your port (which is GREAT, and I do enjoy doing), we will try to create one or two "epic" shots as well!

I am also interested in "portrait" photography - particularly with dramatic and interesting lighting, and am always looking for chances to photograph new things and new locations. I am mainly interested in working with non-jaded, friendly people who enjoy doing this. I enjoy challenges and trying to find a way to take pics that will stand out among the stand-outs! I don't want to be better than the rest, I want to be better than the best!

(I particularly like taking cosplay and steampunk themed pics!)

Right now I am looking to work with models who are willing to work TFCD - I just want to take interesting photographs of interesting people and grow a portfolio. Please contact me with ANY ideas you have for shoots - I'll most likely be all for it!

Oh - I do NOT shoot nudes. Actual OR implied. I don't have a problem with other photographers or models doing it - go nuts and do your thing... Nudes are just not MY thing :) If you're a model who has done nude work and maybe even has nudes in your port - thats not a problem at all. Like I said, I don't have a problem with it or the people who do it - I just don't do it myself, but I have no problem working with people who do. As for my work, I tell the models that whatever pictures I take, you can show them to your mom or dad and not feel weird about it :)

Let's see, what else? Ok, not only do I NOT have a problem with models bringing escorts, I encourage it. It's a crazy world out there, and it's better to be safe than sorry. I mean, it's probably a good idea to also give the details of the shoot (INCLUDING the photographer's phone number) to a third party who is NOT going to the shoot. Stay safe :)

I don't give out unedited pictures. Ever. No exceptions. I have only been asked for this twice, but I figured that was enough to put something about it on my profile. It's just that the editing is part of what I do (unless we have agreed to use an outside retoucher in advance). It's unlikely that a model would agree to have photos of her released without any makeup or their hair just the way they want it. This is kind of the same thing. Any pictures of my work that are "out there" I want them to be something I am proud of. I don't think that's too much to ask.
