Holding his first Photographic exhibition in 1986 for Wolverhampton Arts Week, with over 100 images on display of the local environment; accompanied by contemporary music composed by Mark of sounds from scrap car parts, and industrial sounds recorded by himself, this composition in-fact was until recently used in teaching methods at Warwick University.

Mark has quickly established himself as a highly skilled Photographer gaining professional commissions for commercial businesses specializing in events and high end product photography.

Mark describes personal his photographic practice as a Social Documentary photographer recording significant events that will be used as a photographic record for future generations. Mark has a particular interest in the strange relationship of objects and people and would probably describe himself as a surrealist.

Mark is also a photographic tutor and has recently established his own training company and working with Pixapro lighting he is now demonstrating a wide range photographic skills across the UK.
