About Me

My name is Sandy and I am the owner of Sandyseyecatcher and EyecatchingStudio in San Jose.

Originally from Germany, I studied photography in London and have shot and trained in Duesseldorf, New York and Los Angeles. In 2011 I was awarded a Diploma with Merit by the Institute of Professional Photography.

Then the “American Dream” came true: My husband received a job offer to work in San Jose. We (plus our cats) relocated to the Bay Area in 2012, where we are enjoying the American lifestyle and I have been pursuing professional photography ever since.

Recently I started renting a studio in San Jose and would love to expand my network of models as I am planning to do photography workshops. Please message me when you are interested in a free test-shoot (TFCD). If we like working together you will get paid for modeling at my workshops.
