I truly enjoy composing artistic photographic images. The process provides not only an outlet for my creative energies, but is also a fully collaborative endeavor which involves the imaginative cooperation of photographer, (me) assistant, and model. Through photography I have had opportunities to work with a wide variety of individuals from many different walks of life.

My admiration for the many variations found in the human form was forged in my early twenties while working as a massage therapist. It was during this time I began to fully grasp how human bodies are very similar, and yet so unique. My artistic intent is to create images which feature the individual beauty of everyone I have the pleasure to photograph.

I acknowledge that for a variety of reasons, images of bodies are not to everyone’s personal taste. I fully respect a person’s right to have an opinion. However, when I photograph someone, it is done out of appreciation for the unique beauty of the human form. Use of photo editing software is primarily to highlight the interplay between shadow and light. I do not radically alter the natural look of a model’s body.
