My name is Selene Ahnese.. I'm a self taught designer, photographer & stylist.
Gibbous is the fashion alias I've been working under for about 10 years.
I specialize in one of a kind garments made from reclaimed materials..
The resulting creations are pieces of wearable antique/vintage textile art.

I've mostly had friends model for me up to now, but am looking to branch out
& work with a more diverse group of people. I'm not particularly looking for 'professional' models.. Of course showing up on time is important, but having tons of experience & standard poses is not. I think of my photographs as collaborations with the subjects and try to work with their personalities, capturing beautiful and mysterious moments in time that are more real than staged.

My work is influenced by nature, magick, history.. growth & decay.
I'm dedicated to creating strong, sustainable patterns and honouring the past.
