At 19 years old, in the Pre-digital era of 1999 Robby attended Santa Fe University of Art and Design, there Robby took his first photography class at the Marion Center of Photographic Arts; during his 3 years as a student at the Marion Center of Photographic Arts he learned how to print color, black and white, and non silver.
At Santa Fe University of Art and Design Robby majored in "moving image arts," therefore he focused his studies towards motion picture.
Robby works as an I.A.T.S.E. 728 Hollywood lighting technician. While lighting the sets of professional music videos, movies, and television shows Robby learns many valuable tricks from the greatest cinematographers in the motion picture business.
Being the founder of Magic Eye Production L.L.C. (a micro budget feature length motion picture production company) means Robby has less time to concentrate towards the production of new photographic images, hence why Robby is using Model Mayhem as a motivational apparatus to manifest fresh images. Robby's objective is to win awards by producing stunning photographs through providing quality light and visually striking locations for his models to pose in.
