First, I would like to thank you for visiting my site. Second, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is C.L, or simply Chris, to those who know me.

Until this year and for well over a decade, I worked in a different area of the headshot world. I was first a talent agent and head of the adult commercial department for a well-known and respected talent agency in Beverly Hills. In 2009, I left my position at the agency and started a management company. We grew from a small one-room office in Encino, to a 3000 square foot facility with a full management staff and production arm.

Now, (to the astonishment of almost everyone I know) I have decided to step away from the company that I built to focus on my true passion. I have loved art since I was very young. (I’m sure my parents still have my “most artistic,” medal from my 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Caldwell somewhere in their basement) I have been painting images of people for as long as I can remember and when I was a freshman in high school, I got my first SLR.(been taking photos ever since) I also love people. It’s something I learned from my mother. She loved to hear their stories, their expressions, to hear about their ups and their downs. To her, our stories are the marrow of our lives.

My goal is to combine your passion with mine. You need headshots that pull auditions. Well, that’s KINDA my specialty. There are not many agents, managers, and casting directors that I haven’t worked with, fought with, laughed with, had drinks with…(Johnny B) Just sayin… I know from too many years of experience what works and what doesn’t.

Look, if you’re looking for an artsy set of photos, I’m probably not your guy. My job (and the job of EVERY headshot photographer) is to give you the proper tools to help make your agent and managers job easier. My photos are shot specifically with that in mind. They are simple and clean and pop on LA Casting, Actors Access, The Peoples network, Casting Frontier and the other 17 sites that have yet to be created, but you know are coming.

The idea behind my work is to make your photo completely about YOUR brand. In the same way that APPLE, creates beauty in simplicity, your headshot should simply be about YOU. When I was an agent and manager, nothing would be more frustrating then a good headshot with a loud, busy obnoxious background. You put that on LA casting with 3000 other thumbnail images and you’re poor photo will get over looked every time.
