Shane Edelman graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art from Emerson College. He quickly began his career in front and behind the camera, directing films for Lion's Gate and HBO Films and acting in film and television. Edelman has shown his artwork at several top galleries in Los Angeles and at the MOMA in San Jose. In 2009, he harnessed his extensive background in art, film, graphic and textile design and launched his own design studio. His textiles have been sourced by designers such as Forever 21, Rory Beca, Hy & Dot, Marisa’s Ribisi’s Whitley Cross. Edelman used his art and design background to created his own line of clothes for Anthropolige called “A Smile in The Mind.” He was featured in ELLE Magazine in an article on his fabric painting and design collaborations with L.A. designer, Rory Beca.

Creative director, photographer, filmmaker and artist Shane Edelman has assembled a collective of multi-media creatives who together aim to elevate the Fashion Look Book from mundane catalogue to works of art.
