Welcome, my name is Nicole Mondestin I am an eclectic mix of creativity, art and spirituality. I'm madly in love with my husband, addicted to good food, fashion and color. One of the best days of my life besides becoming a wife and photographer was when I ate my first red velvet cupcake with cheesecake icing. The first bite changed my life. I did say I was addicted to food.

My passion for photography began as a teen on a trip to Italy while documenting the scenery and architecture with my camera. Upon returning home I photographed family, friends and anyone that would let me in-order to develop my skills. In addition to earning a Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies from St. John's University I also studied photography. What started out as a hobby became a profession 3 years ago. While working as a paralegal I craved a creative outlet and hence Nicole Mondestin Photography was born. I am on location photographer based in New York specializing in portraiture, weddings, newborn & maternity photography and more. I prefer to shoot in natural light but I also use strobes as well. Although I am based in New York I do travel to all five boroughs in NYC and the surrounding areas such as New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and much more.

I create art that celebrates you, your family, wedding or brand. When you book a session with me you can expect a fun custom photo session tailor made just for you. By creating a warm and inviting session my clients are able to relax and live in the moment; which in turn allows us to create final images that appear to be un-posed, un-choreographed and reveal your true essence. Photography for me is not just a business but a way of life. I cannot explain how overcome with joy I am when photographing clients and creating art. What I can tell you is that I'm dedicated to my clients and establishing genuine relationships with each of them.
