I first shot, developed and printed a roll of 35mm black and white film at the age of 15. Immediately, I knew that I would be a photographer from that point forward. When I was 17, I had the immense privilege of learning from my mentor, legendary Hollywood celebrity photographer, Douglas Kirkland. In college, at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, I gained tremendous understanding of light, and how to utilize, modify and create it to great effect.
