About Me

I'm Polaris Castillo, a Los Angeles based artist & filmmaker.
I'd like to collaborate with models for life/figure/creative drawing. As an artist mostly working in dreamy surrealism, I think drawing from real life is crucial practice & pencil milage, forcing the eye to consistently remain aware of how to draw one of the most complicated things in the world: the human body.

I also love to add a sense of whimsy flare, such as sweet, poetic text & splashes of watercolour. I like to keep the drawings quick, simple & rotating between several poses. I hope to establish ongoing art relationships to create a free flow drawing session that is soothing, relaxing & liberating. I hope we can all gain something special from collaborating!
