Juan Palacio, was born in 1974 in Medellin – Colombia, in a country rich in contrast and color, the influence is evident in the photographers work.

Right after school he rapidly began his quest to create a name for him self in the South American photography and film industry, with over 12 years experience the photographer work for clients such as SoHo, LOFT, L’Espresso-Italy, New York Times, Canadian Film Center, Prison Dancer and Rolling Stones to name a few. He was also invited to present his work in El Benjamín Gallery – Collective expo / Sala X: "sin censura", La Cometa Gallery - Collective expo / Young Art Contest – Colsanitas plus a permanent exhibition on Gallery Stock NY.

His passion and love for photography and design took him on a journey of self discovery trough studies and new experiences, Juan studied advertising, he follows with photography and a Graphic Design Degree from one of Colombia’s most prestigious universities UPB, As part of his research in 2006 he moved to London were he was exposed to a more global aesthetic over a fine art course in Saint Martin.

Gathering all the academic tools, skills and experience, plus a great instinct for aesthetic and unique passion for design makes the photographer a versatile and unique professional of this art.

To continue his journey the photographer now lives between Montreal and Toronto – Canada with his wife Luisa, who is a Visual Artist.

Juan is currently represented in NYC and London by Gallery Stock.
