I first started serious photography around 30 years ago. After selling my soul to commercial images I became disillusioned and didn’t touch a camera for around 15 years. Now 8 years ago I picked up the camera again and I’m enjoying a second life resisting the temptation to try and make money from my passion. However I have been persuaded to start work again but I am determined to keep true to the images I want to take.
I try to keep as broad a range of genres as possible but recently I have enjoyed photographing friends and family. Some of my photos have helped the careers of my friends and that means a lot to me. I have joined Model Mayhem to develop my people photography and will be happy if I help other people’s careers on the way.
I think I am starting from a good base but it will also be a learning curve for me so I am prepared to explore any brief from photography in the work place to individual studio or location shots and fine art. At the moment my services will be free only asking for reasonable printing expenses as long as I can use the images as well to promote me and future work. I am flexible with my time.
