Barry Cheeseman – Bio
Barry was an accredited photographer with the Australian Institute Professional Photographers (AIPP) for 10 years before retiring from commercial photography.
Barry’s photography has been exhibited in many Art Galleries in Queensland.
He has gained recognition for his portrait photography at national and international levels.
As Barry continues to tutor on photography and photograph for different specific series he therefore seeks access to models to conduct these photographic sessions.
Barry previously ran 'Mystique Of Images', a photographic studio located in West End, Brisbane. Australia.
He is an accredited judge of photography with the Photographic Society of Queensland.
He has lectured on the 'art of photography' on many occasions over the past twelve years.
in 2019 Barry was appointed a "Chevalier Academicien" of the "Mondial Art Academia"in France, an International Academia of individually selected Artists, Sculptors, Photographers and other art media, who have been recognised world wide for their skill in their selected genre of Art.

In 2009 he was a winner in the Portrait Division (Professional Photographers’ section) of the Black & White Spider Awards. This award, based in London and New York, was judged by 39 leading Art Galleries and magazine publishers throughout the world.
In 2012 he was a nominee once again for the same award.
Also in 2012 he was a finalist in the Portrait Division of the 6th Annual Photographers’ Masters Cup, an international competition.
Barry has published three photographic books: They Gallop at Dawn, Portraits of Vietnam and Les Contours de la Figure.
