My name is Tess Lucas and I've recently moved to Vancouver Island! I've worked both in Edmonton and Halifax previous to Victoria. Lifestyle and Boudoir photography are my strong points but I have a keen interest in working on editorial work here, as well as some beauty. With this recent change in scenery, I've got some new ideas and am looking for some fresh faces!

I've studied traditional arts including painting and music. My love for photography has always been prevalent and in my hometown of Halifax, I actually focused a lot on personal and fashion photography projects! Lifestyle, families, weddings, and boudoir have been a pleasant distraction for the past few years but I'm looking to get back into more edgy, artistic work. I'm not one to ever turn down a family portrait or boudoir session though! Seeing families interact and have fun and being able to capture those moments is a huge honour to me. Also I really love boudoir photography. It can be intimidating putting yourself in such a vulnerable situation but encouraging women and helping them to see their own beauty gives me no greater feeling!

You may see me around town at many events, I enjoy volunteering for local fundraisers as well as networking and meeting new people. If you are interested in working with me, whether that be as a model, stylist, or MUA, please do not hesitate to drop me a line! You may be the face and/or personality I'm looking to collaborate with! Also, I'm looking to work with dancers, ballerinas, gymnists, and/or figure skaters on some alternate projects so if that applies to you, just let me know!
