I have been in love with photography and photographing most of my life! I took photo classes at W.C.C and still take classes on digital photography when I have time. I do most any kind of shooting but prefer fine art and landscrap. I am now taking street shots and like to do portraits of people I find interesting and have some special or unique feature about them. I attended a talk given by Jack Kenny and really like his nudes that he has been photographing for years. I have also done back lighted nudes.
I find it a little uncomfortable working with people and want to challenge myself to work one on one with people to be come a better portrait photographer. I have taken many photo workshops with photographers like Monte Nagler and Howard Bond. I have also worked with several other top photographers over the years. My goal and challenge to myself is to work with models to become better at working with people and become a portrait photographer because it is a whole new area for me to work in.
I also do work in film (yes film) black and white only, I love being in the dark room and
I love working with large format cameras. It is so much harder then digital but it is so much more satisfying and the photograph is really one of a kind not, something that you can push a button and make a 100 all just alike. Over all I love all aspects of photography and hope to improve on my skills as a photographer.
