About Me

Having gone to college for Culinary Arts and worked in restaurants most of my adult life, I never expected to be where I am today. I started going out and exploring the nightlife scene in Atlanta when I turned 21. I quickly realized that if I just looked at where there was a photographer promoting a night that it would be busy at said venue. I met Ryan Purcell (Owner @ Oh Snap Kid) in 2010 through nightlife and knew that any event he would be shooting was sure to be good. It wasn’t until a couple of years later that he was looking for a helping hand that I was brought on knowing absolutely nothing about photography.

I was quickly taught the basics and sent out to work. Ever since I was brought on my passion for photography has been a never-ending climb. My photography continues to get better and better and have been told by many that I’m a natural at this. Having started in just nightlife, I wanted to break out and explore what other kind of photography was available. I’ve shot a couple of weddings with great photos showing off experience. I’ve done a couple of portraits and press shots for those close to me to see what that was like. Photo booths are almost always around when I am shooting in town. People like to get silly in them. Corporate work has been sent my way, photography that includes product placement and private events. I’ll go out and do landscapes or experiment with a new technique I may have learned that day. There’s never a moment when I’m not trying to teach myself something or looking for something to take a photo of. I love what I do now and there is never a dull moment.

My favorite photography by far has been large event and festivals. After attending and photographing Counterpoint Music Festival in Atlanta, GA, I knew that photography is what I wanted to do from now on. The energy and excitement found there is by far one of my favorite things to capture. I attended Winter Music Conference in Miami, FL and that further fortified my decision to leave my current job in a kitchen in Atlanta to pursue full time photography. I now have both Electric Daisy Carnival in Chicago and Electric Forest in Michigan confirmed for this summer and cant wait to see what else is in store for me this summer.

I love photography and everything about it. If you see me out there doing what I do best, please don’t hesitate to say hello!!
