I am a fine artist, based in Denver. As well as pursuing imagery which reflects "relationships" is the natural world, I am following my muse into the studio, where I am inspired to paint images that represent the spirit of ephemeral beauty, the dichotomy of creation and destruction, and sexuality as embodied in the female form.
I am inspired by many artists, from the Old Masters, through the impressionist, and lately, the masters of the Nouveau period, and my desire it to fold these influences into contemporary themes, and aesthetic values.

Painting, for me, is a practice, a contemplative practice, and a form of communication, thus I am interested in the challenge of using the eternal beauty of the female form to draw the viewer in to a story that starts on the canvas and which becomes individualized, and personal, in the mind and body of the viewer, and there-in lyes the creative challenge.
Some stories that I am interested in telling, really, are mythological, I suppose... The basic human need for connection, Love and loss, The Dance of Femininity and Masculinity, Pain and pleasure and the sensual experience, Sexuality and Eroticism...
I feel like I have a long way to go before I even scratch the surface!
