Hi, Umbala [Zulu word meaning 'colour'] Photography is run by myself, Darin Higgs.

I was born in the beautiful & extremely hot Province of Natal, South Africa and spent my life there making the most of what my wonderful homeland had to offer.

A keen photographer from my early teens, I made the move to Wales in 1995 to live closer to my extended family.

Since establishing myself here, I have photographed numerous events and people.

I really enjoy fashion and portrait photography and love shooting both studio and location based.

I have some commercial shoots this Spring, so I am keen to connect with models of all levels of experience.

I'm happy to do tfp/tfcd/tfusb if you are starting out and looking to build up your portfolio.
