That is precisely why I got into photography in the first place. To ensure the preservation of a memory.

In 2011, I purchased my first DSLR camera. I instantly fell in love with it. The feeling was reminiscent to when I played my first note on an instrument. It felt right, it felt amazing, and it felt like home. As I learned my way around the camera, I began to explore different genres of photography. I went from doing landscapes and still life, to taking portraits of my friends. Eventually, that grew into a tiny business and I'd take photos of people for their senior recitals, headshots and just for fun. That is when I realized it was my forte. I loved capturing peoples' faces, their emotions, and I believe that a photo can tell someone's life story and I want to be one of the people who captures it.
