My name is Cam. I'm an aspiring makeup artist based in Miami, Florida. I started playing with makeup as a little girl and ever since I've been in love with cosmetics and beauty. I started working at Ulta Beauty, where my knowledge for make up grew and also met a lot of talented people who helped me learn and inspired me. I've always been an artistic person, so to me this is my passion. I feel like makeup is a type of art and a face is my canvas. I also worked at Nordstrom in cosmetics. Being part of the cosmetics team at Nordstrom helped gain knowledge on high end makeup such as Chanel, Dior, etc. I also became part of the Clarins counter where I learned a lot about skin care. Working retail in cosmetics was very beneficial. I attended seminars and also learned from different makeup artist. However, it made me realize that I wanted to be an artist not just a sales person. Even though It was very beneficial, I decided to take the risk and follow my dreams on becoming one of the best makeup artist there is. I joined Model Mayhem to meet all types of models and photographers who are on the same path as me. I would love to be part of your portfolio and also create one for myself. I'm experienced however I'm always down to learn and try something new. I don't have too many pictures of my work but one of my main goals is to create portfolio with different styles.
