My name is JessicaKatie and I am the reigning MISS CANADA CHARITY 3rd Princess. I came across your profile and I could not help but message you as I see that you could be a potential contestant for the 2014 pageant (Miss/ Teen/ Canada Globe or Petite).
I would like to tell you my experience in this pageant as it changed my life.
In 2012 I had the amazing opportunity to compete for the title of MISS CANADA PETITE. During both the regional & national competitions, I established friendships that could never be forgotten; on top of learning more than I ever could have imagined.
We went out to elegant restaurants, salsa dancing, shopping and even Canada's Wonderland!
I had the time of my life and although I didn't win the national title of MISS CANADA PETITE, I won the regional title of MISS PETITE SIMCOE COUNTY, along with a beautiful crown & sash. I had the honour of representing Simcoe County for the duration of a year. I was able to attend events with the Mayor of Orillia, be a key-note speaker for STAND UP! Orillia Against Bullying grassroots group, help with several store grand-openings, help raise money for charity, have my own float in Orillia's annual Christmas and Canada Day parade, among many other community events.
Fast forward to now...
I completed my reign as MISS PETITE SIMCOE COUNTY and Miss Canada Globe Productions acknowledged all my charity work by giving me a chance to compete for the title of MISS CANADA CHARITY. I am honoured to say I won the title of MISS CANADA CHARITY 3rd Princess on September 1, 2013.
I now hold an honorary national title and may even have the opportunity to compete on an international level.
I would not have met so many wonderful people over this last year or had such unforgettable memories if MCGP had not presented me with these opportunities.
I am forever grateful for all they have done.
My self-esteem and confidence have sky rocketed over the last year. I truly got to know myself through all these new experiences.
