ID VS US (ɪ́d və́rsəs ə́s)
If you really want the meaning heres a little breakdown about the background and origins of the name I chose as one of my ‘nom de guerre’. ID VS US or idvsus is… wants vs needs, impulse vs thought, pleasure principle vs delayed gratification, external vs internal; idvsus is…finding balance.

As a successful, award winning, and established artist with published work on magazine covers, newspaper stories, international catalogs, and websites; I love light, photography, collaborating, and capturing moments. I enjoy the thought of being able to suspend a moment of emotion in time and turning it into a timeless work of art. I am a tinkering artist and adventurer so I try to have a different approach to various subjects and am open to trying something even if I am not familiar with it. I love shooting with various types of cameras to achieve different looks. I strive to find the beauty in natural shape and form. I stay away from overly processing an image to "make it beautiful", that should be captured at the moment of the snap.

Currently living in the East Bay in the S.F. Bay Area, I have a studio/office in Hayward but do quite a bit of traveling for location shoots to Hawai’i, the Pacific Northwest, Southern California, and beyond. I like to connect with my clients about ideas before shooting sessions and have fun during the capture process. I look forward to meeting, collaborating, and creating great work with some new people both artists and models who share similar outlooks and want to create something timeless. Keep a humble mind, positive attitude, and thankful heart. We will have a grand time!
