I'm a photographer and Photoshop guru who's been "behind the camera" since an adolescent, but professionally as a cinematographer, photographer and photojournalist since 1980. For most of the last 20 years I've been more of a Fine Arts Photographer with gallery representation at times. It was the art market that pushed me into focusing on shooting women.

As you can see from my pictures, my work is more fine arts oriented, less commercial glamour or fetish; though you can see the "film" influence on my composition, plus my lighting is influenced by my work in TV commercials.

I prefer to collaborate with my models, starting with a simple idea to get things going, but often that idea gets tossed away as we start working and the model expresses herself. I do like to work with the theme of "the Goddess Within" and often toy with the dichotomous concept of vulnerability of empowerment or empowerment as vulnerability
