fine art painter / printmaker turned photographer -- interested in capturing beauty and hints of the soul in beautiful, powerful, sensual and unique portraits. boudoir, nude or any state of clothing is fine. my images are rather contrasted, grainy, vintage, and retouched, i strive for a type of universal representation and appreciation of each subject that at the same time showcases the unique features of each person while underlining the universal beauty in every person, and in humanity as a whole. big influences for my life and work are modern art (impressionist, expressionist, abstract, surreal, conceptual, cubist), sculpture of any age and both classic and modern literature, jazz / funk / soul, vintage and retro photographs of the 50's 60's 70's, early french boudoir... my favorite light set up is a mix of natural with one or two studio lights for emphasis. keen to do more body landscapes as i have been focused on portraits for the last 5 years - but happy to do either or both.
