About Me

After a long career in Photojournalism covering violent events on the streets of Chicago, I now prefer to photograph pretty people in my studio.

I started Mike Carter, Photojournalist in 1985 and established clientele in the Newspaper and Magazine publishing industry in Chicago.

In 1999, I began videotaping news for broadcast on all the TV News outlets in Chicago.

I now wish to make full use of my creativity to photograph beautiful people in my studio

I like to try different creative approaches and will always do something different photographically on each shoot. I love to experiment, and try to produce unusual and unique images using dramatic lighting and angles.
