Born and raised in Miami, Florida, growing up Jerrick Gray discovered his passion for pattern making and tailoring. He was self-taught with full support from his family which led to his first design position whilst in high school for an independent brand that sold in Macy's Burdines and other specialty boutiques.

Jerrick moved to New York City to continue his studies at F.I.T in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising Management. Post-graduation he relocated to Asia to where he strengthened his manufacturing and sourcing capabilities for international profiled design firms. Before the launch of his eponymous label he had the pleasure of working with Tuleh, Rebecca Minkoff, PVH, and Ralph Lauren.
